Happy Birthday Eddie: To the Best Little Brother in the World!

26 years ago today on July 22, my little brother Eddie was born. Eddie is the last baby of our family and he's the fourth child that completed our circle. Eddie is only 3 1/2 years younger than me, but many moons wiser and lots of inches taller! ;-)
My little brother, Eddie, is my greatest supporter. Whenever I see him, the first words out of his mouth are, “How are you doing, Dawn?” He asks this question in the most sincere and genuine way, with his big, brown eyes staring back at me awaiting my response. He listens intently and always offers support, advice, and finds a way to make me smile.
My little brother, Eddie,  is one of my most favorite people in the world. He’s passionate, dedicated and committed to whatever he puts his mind to. He accepts each challenge whether he wants to or not, and keeps on pushing forward until he has triumphed. In Eddie's eyes, he has "the worst luck." He's convinced that life hasn't always dealt him the easiest of hands, but he’s determined... and even when he’s taken a fall, he gets up and keeps fighting.

My little brother, Eddie, is great at making people feel comfortable and he's great at making people laugh. He was always such a comedian as a child, and now as a full-grown man, he is the laughter that keeps our family in high spirits. He's such a great story-teller and uses the best facial expressions and voices to make us laugh even more.
My little brother, Eddie, is one of the very best men I know. Eddie, I’m so proud of all that you've accomplished and truly look forward to seeing what you achieve in the following years. You continue to inspire me in so many different ways. I’m SO lucky to have you as my brother and I'm extremely grateful for every day that we have with each other.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Eddie!! I'm so excited for the new adventures you'll face next week! I love you so much and can't wait to celebrate your best year yet!
