Not a Bad Thing

I will admit, I'm a Justin Timberlake fan.  I have been since his early *NSYNC days.  I loved him with his bleached blonde, curly hair.  I continued to love him through the cornrows, the shaved head, and everywhere in between.  I saw *NSYNC 9 times in concert, and then when Justin went completely solo, I continued to see him in concert, the most recent time was in July at Yankee Stadium.  Most people would have rolled their eyes 15 years ago if they saw my bedroom.  I had pictures all over my bedroom, and was completely obsessed with Justin.  Basically, I'm a devoted fan.  

Anyway, Justin has gone on to prove that his talent goes beyond music, especially when it comes to his SNL appearances.  He's a Jack of All Trades, and I'm glad that my teenage obsession with this particular heartthrob didn't go by the wayside.  He's really grown with his fans! 

Justin Timberlake's latest song, "Not a Bad Thing," is all about falling in love.  The lyrics are catchy, and you can't help but keep listening to this song.

Throughout the song, Justin repeats this line over and over again.  So what do you think?  Why isn't it a bad thing to fall in love?  Yeah...you could get your heart broken.  You could get disappointed.  BUT...if you fall in love with the right person, don't all of those risks fade away?  If you let your guard down, and trust your heart to the right person, love opens up a whole world of possibilities you might not have otherwise had.  

You know I'm a hopeless romantic.  I can't help it!  Love is amazing in so many different ways.  It stands the test of time.  Love is the hug when you're feeling sad.  Love is saying, "it's going to be okay," when you had a bad day.  Love is the "I'm sorry" after a fight.  Love is laughing hysterically together.  Love is when you send a "I hope you have a great day!" text.  Love is just caring for the other person unconditionally.  Who wouldn't want that?  I think it's a great thing to fall in love!
