It's day 6 of my 31 Day Squat Challenge and OMG my thighs are killing me! Prior to getting into this squat challenge, Marc introduced me to the foam roller. I complained of tight hip flexors and muscle aches, and he showed me how to use this amazing, simple invention. You use the roller on your sore muscles which allows them to relax. You can find how-to videos all over YouTube which explain how to use the roller properly.
I found my roller at TJ Maxx for $9.99. It's super cheap and well worth getting it! I have been using it on my thighs, and my muscles feel so much more relaxed. I will let you know that when you apply pressure to those muscles it HURTS, but after a short amount of time, the muscle will relax and you will feel so much better. You should try it out!
