Our Favorite Author: Emily Giffin's new book, The One and Only!

I am so excited to bring you this post tonight!!! Dawn and I discovered New York Times Best Selling Author,  Emily Giffin when she wrote her first book, Something Borrowed!    I first met Emily on her book tour for Something Borrowed at the Barnes & Noble in Chapel Hill, NC while visiting my sister.  I immediately loved her, and continued to read the next six books she published! Dawn and I met Emily two years ago on her last book tour in Greenwich, CT.  She was so sweet, and we even got a picture with her!!

Emily is getting ready to release her seventh book titled The One & Only.  I follow Emily Giffin on Facebook and have been anticipating this book since I finished her last book titled, Where We Belong.  Well...Today I got a newsletter from Emily announcing that The One & Only will be released on May 20th! 

Emily says that the new book is a cross between Friday Night Lights and When Harry Met Sally.  Her interview with Entertainment Weekly discusses everything from the setting of the story to the book jacket design!
