Planning a Baby Shower: Invitations

I love party planning! From choosing the very first ideas, to throwing away the last speck of wrapping paper, it's something that excites me!  One of the most important parts of party planning is choosing the invitations.  Many people go the cheap route because "they just go in the garbage anyway," but I say don't skimp on this part of the process!

There are many different places where you can go for invitations, but there are a few websites I'm going to highlight for you tonight.  When I planned my sister's baby shower, I scoured the internet until I found the right invitation that went along with the theme and feel of our shower.  I hope these suggestions help!

1. Tiny Prints  If you've heard of Shutterfly, you'll love Tiny Prints.  If you've heard of Wedding Paper Divas, you'll love Tiny Prints.  They're all affiliated with one another!  This is the website I used to order Allyson's baby shower invitations.  I love the fact that the ordering process was easy, they have a preview feature so you can see what your invite will look like before you place your order, and the invites were delivered fast!  There are tons of ideas and designs.  It's a paper lover's paradise!  Here's the design I used for her shower:

2. Minted  For some reason, I am fascinated by this website.  I've seen their products before, and their card stock is like none I've ever seen before.  Their designs are beautiful.  I'm determined to order something from their site eventually.  This is one of my favorite designs for a baby shower:

3. Zazzle  This site has all things personalized.  Their prices are reasonable, and their products are on trend.  Check them out!

4. Paper Style This site also has beautiful, trendy designs.

5. Laura Damiano Designs  If you're looking for an absolute custom look, visit Laura Damiano Designs.  She's local to the Hudson Valley, NY area, but I am sure she'd work with anyone from any location!  Dawn used her for her wedding invitations, and her work is beautiful.  Check out her site!

I hope some of my ideas help you and inspire you to create the baby shower of the Mommy-to-Be's dreams!
