Spring Home Decor: DIY Banners

Ever since creating my Happy New Year photo booth, I'm kind of in love with DIY banners. As I begin to think about spring decorations, here are four banners that I'm considering to make over the next few weeks. All of these projects are very inexpensive and require very little materials.

1. Paint Chip Easter Garland - I found this adorable idea from Modern Parents Messy Kids blog. I love the idea of using paint chips and have blogged about this before for Valentine's Day. What an easy project and fun for the kids, too! She provides an egg template on her blog post so that they look perfect!

2. Spring Printable Banner - I love the I Heart Naptime blog. She posts so many great DIY project ideas and she always offers free printables, too. This banner caught my eye because of the pinwheels. They look super cute and seem easy to make. The directions to make the pinwheels are here

3. Scrapbook Paper Banner - I love scrapbooking and have so many different types of paper, so this one seemed easy to make too! The DIY Mommy blog posted about this awesome project. There are only a few items that you'll need: string/yarn/twine, glue stick, scissors, ruler, stickers, and of course, scrapbook paper!

4. Easter Bunny Banner - This one is just so cute! Such a fun kids project, too! Again, so very easy with just a few pieces of pretty scrapbook paper. Simply Sprout Educate blog lists a few Easter themed activities for your kids or for the classroom. She also provides a bunny template for easy tracing and cut-outs. The cotton ball for the bunny's tail adds such a cute touch!
