Close to the HEART Graduation Gift Idea!!

It blows my mind that this June will mark 12 years since my high school graduation, and 7 since my college graduation.  I hold the memories close to my heart from each big event.  Life goes by unbelievably quick, and I'm sure the loved ones who watched these graduates grow up feel like it went by even faster.

In order to be sure that you stop and recognize the graduate's accomplishments in a personal way, why not sit down and write a letter.  Ask anyone who is close to the graduate to write a letter, too.  Maybe include some advice, a personal story, or just words of wisdom that the graduate could use in the future.  The letters could be compiled into a scrapbook or binder for the graduate to look back on in years to come!

I've gathered some ideas for you for this idea.  Let us know if you decide to use it!

Include a personal message...and some photos!

You could also give everyone a similar sized card and tie them in a stack just like these above!

Begin a journal of love letters to your child from when they are very young, and then give it to them during a special moment in their life, like graduation!
